Years ago when Rescue 3 Instructor Trainer Barry Edwards designed these pulleys his primary goal was to make them strong but weigh less. The side plates are made of high grade aluminum and are slimmer than other pulleys, with a series of holes to cut down on the weight. The bolt, washers, lock nuts, and sealed ball bearings are stainless steel, to stand up to the conditions of the rescue environment. Manufactured by Seattle Manufacturing Company, one of the leading industry professionals in the rescue market.
