Designed for Emergency Rappel
In a class by itself, CMC offers the only NFPA Certified Uniform Rappel Belt available. Designed for everyday wear but with the performance needed for an emergency rappel or belay. Standard uniform wear for fire fighters, search and rescue, and SWAT personnel, the belt is constructed to the same exacting standards as our harness line and is the only certified uniform belt available. The belt uses 1-3/4 web that fastens securely without requiring any hook-and-loop material. The AustriAlpin D-ring COBRA buckle is manufactured from 7075aluminum alloy and features a built-in stainless steel D-ring (Buckle:18 kN / 4,000 lbf MBS, D-ring: 22 kN / 5,000 lbf MBS, straight pull). The buckle requires a two finger release and will not open when loaded. Included web keeper secures excess web at tail end of belt. Adjustable, one size fits most.
Note: This belt is not intended as a substitute for a harness.
Fins are difficult to carry, especially if you are operating a PWC or are ready to toss a throw bag. Designed with the help of river rescue professionals and lifeguards, our SRT Accessory Belt holds a fin on each hip with buckles that allow quick release of the fins even when in the water. The back of the belt has a place to attach a river knife and a few loops for clipping carabiners. The dive-type waist buckle can be released even under load. (Accessories not included.) One size fits most rescuers.

Similar features as our basic uniform belt, but the hook and loop fastener holds the free end of the webbing against belt
Specifically designed for performing work or rescue in or around a trench, our Class I Trench Work-Rescue Belt is loaded with features. Its AustriAlpin COBRA® buckle—manufactured from 7075 aluminum alloy with a built-in stainless steel D-ring (Buckle:18 kN / 4,000 lbf MBS, D-ring: 22 kN / 5,000 lbf MBS, straight pull)—is secure yet easy to open and close while wearing gloves. Our aluminum D-ring provides a rear connection point at the back of the belt for a travel restrict. The belt is constructed of multiple layers of nylon webbing to allow for limited lateral movement of the rear D-ring. The webbing also increases belt stiffness for carrying tools and the belt’s 1 3/4” width is compatible with most commonly used nail and tool pouches. Our Web-Keeper™ secures excess web at tail end of the belt. Fully adjustable to fit over turnouts. One size fits most.

At the behest of several departments, we added a tether that extends the length of the connection out to 16-3/4 inches to reach the ladder rung. The wide padding and quick connect hardware make it comfortable and easy to don. Our lightweight auto-locking ProSeries XL Carabiner is included. Black web with red padding.
For proper fit, measure waist with turnouts on.
Fire Ground Products
Our fire ground product line began with a fire department request for a ladder belt that had the comfort and quality of a CMC harness. To the traditional fall restraint and basic tool-carrying capability, we added comfort features and the strength necessary to meet the requirements of NFPA Standard 1983.
CMC has continued to expand the product line for fire ground belts and harnesses by combining our design and engineering with ongoing input from firefighters. Our products can significantly increase the safety of firefighters by providing more and better options for fall restraint and emergency escape.
