42 Business Days
So named from its development in the rugged Red Rock highlands of northern Arizona, the Arizona Vortex (AZV) multipod was created from years of trial and error. Having worked with crude but functional lashed timber frames at Sedona-based Ropes That Rescue, Reed Thorne developed the AZV with the help of Rock Thompson at Rock Exotica. The Arizona Vortex represents the essence of at-the-edge frames, which no standard multipod can match today.
The father of all portable artificial high directionals (AHD)s, the AZV is a tripod, bipod and monopod in one all-inclusive kit. Its precision machined two-piece head can be rigged as a standard tripod or, in advanced applications, as an A-frame, Sideways A-frame, Gin Pole or a multitude of other configurations. The tripod can be formed into an Easel A-frame with adjustable leg lengths. The versatile third leg allows rescuers to set up an artificial high directional in virtually any urban, industrial or wilderness application. On A-frame and Easel A-Frame applications, pulleys can be attached using provided quick-pins directly into the Head Set without using carabiners, eliminating valuable lost headspace and working clearance. The AZV is ideal for use with high lines and tracking line offsets. The extra attachment points also work well for rope access where several lines may be needed over the edge. Both the Raptor and Flat feet sets are included to provide secure footing options on varying terrain and industrial surfaces.

SKED-EVAC Aluminum Cobra Buckle Conversion Kit
Skedco now offers a complete conversion kit that includes six patented AustriAlpin Cobra™ quick release buckles. These lightweight aluminum side-release buckles are dependable and strong enough to meet the needs of securing a patient into a Sked® stretcher without the danger of breakage. The buckles are rated at 3,000 lbs. and are difficult to release while under tension. By using the Cobra buckle system, you will no longer have to weave the webbing through the buckles when packaging a patient, therefore patient packaging is often done in about half of the time as when using the original steel buckles. The Cobra buckle straps girth-hitch onto the Sked stretcher for quick and easy installation.

SKED-EVAC Industrial Tripod
Manufactured by Skedco, makers of the Sked Stretcher, the Sked-EVAC tripod features aircraft-grade, gold-anodized aluminum legs and a cast-aluminum head. Three heavy-duty rigging anchors, located in the center, have exceptionally large holes for easy attachment. Legs adjust in 5-in (127-mm) increments for a maximum height of 10 ft (3 m) and a minimum length for transport of 7 ft (2.1 m). The cast ladder feet swivel and come with a choice of a sure-grip rubber pad or a point for embedding in a soft or slippery surface. Holes in the feet allow the tripod to be bolted into position. A safety chain prevents leg movement and adjusts with a screw link. The optional Winch Bracket connects DBI/Sala Salalift II Winch or SRL to a Sked-EVAC Tripod.
Sked-EVAC Tripod Proof Loads
These proof loads are from independent, third-party testing and determine the repeatable load rating (not the ultimate breaking strength) for the Sked-EVAC Tripod.
