Intermediate by-pass adapter can be added to any MD post to help workers continue along the horizontal path of the i-beam or concrete beam they are walking on. The unique design keeps the systems horizontal cable in place while still allowing workers enough room to pass the snap hook of their lanyard through the intermediate adapter without ever needing to disconnect from the horizontal lifeline cable system. Additional posts are commonly used in areas where not much clearance exists from where workers are walking on the beams to an obstruction below, typically the graound.
