


Ortis is a self-locking descender device, manually run by one operator, used for evacuation from cableway, adventure parks and high work places. Conform to EN 341 class A standard, a person can be lowered by an operator on a textile rope at a controlled speed (between 0.5 and 2 m/s).
Fitted with highly resistant aluminum wheel and pigtail lever to manage the speed of descent.
Important: this device has been designed to be used with a Tendon Ø 11mm static rope conform to EN 1891 standard. It may also be used with other 10 to 13 mm Ø static or dynamic ropes but results could differ from EN 341 class A standard requirements.
